Crafted by Nature

Forbo Furniture Linoleum is distinguished not only by its refined appearance, but also by the purity of its composition. Made from natural ingredients including linseed oil, wood flour, pine rosin and limestone, it offers a thoughtful alternative to synthetic surface materials. The beauty of Forbo Furniture Linoleum lies in the unique character of its natural ingredients. Each component contributes to a warm, tactile surface with a distinctive matte finish that invites touch and evolves gracefully over time. Combining timeless aesthetics with responsible material choices, it enables designers and architects to create interiors that are both visually compelling and environmentally conscious.

A Material That Stores Carbon

Forbo Furniture Linoleum is made from 79% renewable raw materials, many of which absorb CO₂ during their growth cycle. Through photosynthesis, the bio-based ingredients capture more carbon dioxide than is emitted during the production process.

As a result, Forbo Furniture Linoleum stores carbon within the material itself, contributing to a reduced environmental footprint. For every square metre produced, 456 grams of CO₂ are removed from the atmosphere and retained within the product.
